If you don't mind paying through the nose for totally OTT clothes and homeware, then you might like House of Hackney. Personally, I don't!

House of Hackney is a very popular boutique in East London, and people who live in the area are proud to have it here. It started out selling furnishings but has now moved on to selling fashion as well. it's famous for its bold printed fabrics, so if you don't like busy prints then steer clear! I love it, and think it's such a creative and inspiring shop to visit.

What I will say about House of Hackney is that it's a very welcoming and friendly shop. However, that being said it is just not for me. I am used to high street clothes at high street prices. The uber fashionable, trendy look of everything in this store just isn't to my taste, and neither are the over inflated prices.

House of Hackney now sell a range of products including furniture and clothing. However, I will always love their first and original venture - wallpaper and fabric. I adore textiles and House of Hackney has always stood out to me. Their prints are just divine and so unique.

The London Rose, and Flights of Fancy wallpapers are my absolute favourites and though they are eye-wateringly expensive they are such beautiful art work that I think it's worth splashing out on for your home.
