I came in here with my friends as the girls in the group wanted to look around. It's a small, noisy, busy shop with not much for men to look at. It's not my type of shop at all.

I needed to get a birthday present for my Mum and she asked for something from The Body Shop. The staff here were really kind in helping me find a good gift for her and they didn't mind that I only had a small amount of money to spend. I thought they might try to sell me more than I could afford, but they were very good at making sure everything I bought was within my spending limit.

I don't like this branch of The Body Shop as much as the other one further down Oxford Street. It's right on the corner of the road so you get a lot of noise coming in from pedestrians as well as cars and buses. I feel like The Body Shop should be a calm tranquil place as it's all about treating yourself and pampering, so the noise coming in from outside really ruins that.

The Body Shop is OK, but I just don't think there's anything special about it. The stores have hardly changed in 25 years and the products all seem the same as they did when I was a kid. Living in London, I have all kids of different boutiques, independent shops and pop up stores on my doorstep, so shopping in this massive chain where every shop looks the same feels like a waste.
