I have always liked Russell and Bromley and this is a decent store. I actually prefer their Kensington branch, but you can't beat Oxford Street for convenience so I tend to come here more often. The staff are very polite and helpful, and I can always find suitable shoes for work which look smart but without being frumpy. The quality of their shoes is as good as designer footwear double the price, and the styles are classical and elegant. It may not look much from outside, but it's always worth taking a look here for top notch footwear in my opinion!

OK, I have to be honest. This store does not look good. Russell & Bromley have a way of keeping their stores looking like they are stuck in the past. However, the shoes are fantastic. They feature lovely designs, they are comfortable and they last for years. Yes, they are expensive but they are so well crafted that I personally think it is worth it . True, you could spend half as much somewhere else, but they would last half as long!

I prefer to buy designer shoes and though the footwear here isn't bad at all, the look of the store is very off putting. The store is far too big for the amount of shoes they actually have on display, the lighting is drab and the whole store is just very beige. Boring, boring, boring!

This shop is very sparse and looks like it's stuck in the nineties. A bit of updating to the interior decor would do wonders for Russell & Bromley - the shoes are nice but they are let down by the boring, old styling of the shop.

I thought that they would sell children's shoes here but it's mostly women's footwear with some men's shoes thrown in for good luck. It's a big store with very little in it, I'm sure they could make room for a kid's range!
