I have a very boisterous little boy who gets himself into all kinds of trouble. His shoes usually fall apart very quickly, but when passing this Geox on Oxford Street I thought I would take a look at the children's section and see if I could get something more hardwearing and robust.

All to often, my son's shoes end up letting in water during the winter as they are well used and he likes to jump in puddles! However, his Geox's have fared very well and are totally waterproof.

The staff are very knowledgeable and do their best to help you find a good fit and style. I will return here soon to get more shoes for my boy.

From the outside of the shop, looking through the window, I thought this looked like it was going to sell cheap shoes and clothes. However, all the footwear here is out of my price range.

Geox do a great range of shoes and clothes. It's not the most stylish or trendy shop you'll ever go to, but all the products are very practical and comfortable and sometimes that's all you need.

I pretty much live in my Geox moccasins over the summer months because they don't make my feet too hot and sweaty. It's a shame the store isn't any nicer, I really just want to buy my shoes and leave as quickly as I can when I come here.

I hadn't heard of Geox before, but after complaining to some colleagues about how much my feet ached by the end of the day (I'm an estate agent and can spend entire days wandering around houses) I was told that I should check this place out.

I thought this was just an average shoe shop but a sales assistant explained to me that the shoes and clothes are designed to be comfortable and breathable, so you don't get hot, tired feet by home time. Most of the shoes were very casual but they also had a very nice range of formal shoes which are perfect for work. I chose the New Life shoes which also have a waterproof sole - perfect for pounding the pavements in rainy London!

This is an incredibly uninspiring store. I came in here to get some nice shoes for the office but all the shoes are very old fashioned and remind me of something that my mother would wear. The designs just aren't to my liking at all, and quite expensive for such unfashionable shoes.
