I think I've reached a point in my life where I am too old for American Apparel clothing. There are some good basics here, but the skirts and dresses are far too short for me! I think you need to be very young and confident to wear some of the women's clothing they sell at American Apparel.

Carnaby Street is a great little lane just off Regent Street, which is filled with cool boutiques. American Apparel is one of my favourites - it's very on trend but also has a solid range of basics in a number of different colours, so you can always find a shade which suits you. The unisex range is perfect - I love the sweatshirts in particular as they are so soft and warm; perfect for London weather!

American Apparel is brilliant for t-shirts and sweatshirts in a wide range of colours. I've been known to come here and buy the same t-shirt in four or five different shades as they fit so well and look great! If you like simple but stylish clothing and you're a fan of layering your clothes in autumn and winter, then you should check out American Apparel.

I think that American Apparel is very overpriced for what it is. There is really no need for the clothing to be as expensive as it is - it's mostly very simple, and they hardly ever change up their collection, and the store isn't especially nice. However, a hoodie can cost as much as £50! I'd rather go somewhere else and get a similar top for much less money.
