Comfort Station is one of Brick Lane’s very special treasures. Set in Brick Lane’s quieter neighbouring Cheshire Street of exciting vintage dens, Comfort Station offering a rare harmony of serenity and excitement through ethereal, mysterious and highly unusual designer jewellery. Comfort Station is adored for its delicate conceptual jewellery with an unmistakable fine art influence edged with an air of dark romanticism. The independent is also loved for its ambient boutique styling of peculiar taxidermy, birds, beasts and botany china plates and irresistible jewels with a story. Open antique books and battered vintage suitcases line the walls, elegantly displaying the collection in a dreamlike world of suspended animation.

Comfort Station is known for unusual themes such as science, mathematics, the phonetic alphabet, geographical destinations, cosmology and entomology that add an extra coded layer of meaning to every sentimental piece. Discover unexpected thought provoking inspirations like Comfort Station’s beautiful exploration of the number five; the only odd untouchable number perfect and the most consonant harmony in musical script. Comfort Station’s jewellery collections are founded on clear ethics, handcrafted in house using precious metals and sustainable materials.

A Comfort Station Celestial Gold Pendant costs £275 and a Comfort Station ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ Silver Ring costs £175.

I love Comfort Station for beautiful jewellery. It is a bit out of my budget so I usually come here ahead of my birthday or christmas and make a list of gifts I would like! I love their pendants in particular as you can wear them with anything and they just make an outfit into something extraordinary. I can be wearing jeans and a t-shirt and put on a Comfort Station necklace and I suddenly look awesome!

The staff at Comfort Station are very kind and patient. They helped me pick out a birthday gift for my wife, despite the fact that I didn't have a clue what to get her! In the end I settled for a beautiful gold bib necklace for about £250. She loves it and wears it for any special occasion now, so it was well worth the money.

I thought I might be able to buy my Mum a present from here but it's very expensive. I will have to go to normal high street shops instead as I can't afford to spend so much with just pocket money.

For unusual, eccentric and yet wonderfully beautiful jewellery, take a trip to Comfort Station. This is my favourite jewellery store in London as the pieces are so unique and distinctive but have great style. If you love people asking you where you got the items you wear, then make a trip to Comfort Station! I get so many comments and compliments on their jewellery when I wear it.
